Bike in the back – De Rosa in Finland
Jukka from Finland sent me some pictures of his very nice DE ROSA.
Original text by Jukka:
This is my my 1983 (?) De Rosa Super Record. It's one of few
originally to Finland imported bikes. Everything original except bar
tape, which should be white I supposed and Continental tubes in
orange. I couldn't resist the color match with frame decoration details.

Thanks a lot for the photos and many greetings to Finland!

The new MERAK – a name with tradition
Roman Vainsteins wins the world cup (2000) on a De Rosa Merak
The brand new MERAK
A name with tradition revives: In 2000 Roman Vainsteins won the World Cup on a De Rosa Merak, and from that day forth this frame became one of the best-selling De Rosa types ever.
The current model was made of aluminum with a carbon chainstay. The following entirely new Merak from the 2010 collection is made from a unidirectional carbon fiber in a typical powerful but innovative form.
