The italian (Turin based) Stac Plastic signs the agreement as sponsor for Bordonali Team: De Rosa - Ceramiche Flaminia
It's the great passion for cycling the driver of Vittorio Montini (President of Stac Plastic). Last year, his firm reached the "world of cycling" and he decides to carry on the project of Bordonali trusting on the junger team-mates who composed it.
"We believe in cycling - said Montini- That's why we decided to grow with the team"
By his side, Bordonali is really satisfied about the presence of this partner - "I'm really proud of continuing the co-operation with Vittorio of Stac Plastic. I think to have done a good work in selecting a joung and ambitious team, ready to show its value to sponsor and to start the season. 1983 De Rosa Super Prestige
A 1983 DE ROSA SUPER PRESTIGE ROAD BIKE 56CM
CAMPY SUPER RECORD GROUP W/PANTOGRAPHED CHAINRING, STEM, SEATPOST, PUMP & BRAKE LEVERS
This medium blue metallic painted beauty, with its original finish and components, is one of the finest examples of Ugo De Rosa's work from 1983. Almost no wear on the frame and parts. No rust. Frame is straight and has no damage. A few small scratches have been touched up. I matched the color as best as possible. All touch-ups that I made may be removed with lacquer thinner, if desired. Chrome is excellent. All parts and bearings have been professionally overhauled by an expert mechanic. There are a few small dark patches on the bars and stem. The rims are not new and show normal brake pad wear. The tires are not new, but are supple and have no cracking. Original decals are flawless, except for the small Columbus SL tubing decal on the seat tube. Columbus tubing decals are known to be notoriously fragile and brittle.These are the only obvious flaws on this bike. The ride and feel of this immaculate machine is as great as the day it was born, 27+ years ago.
